Hello!  My name is Mrs. Jimenez and I am the co-teacher on Team 7-1.  This will be my 8th year teaching and my 2nd year here at Glenside.  I have previously taught elementary.  This year my goal for students is that they will be able to be independent workers, find success in all of their classes, and know that they have an adult advocate that they can go to.  I will be teaching in all content areas and working with the teachers to create a successful learning experience for all students.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Middle School endorsements in Language Arts and Social Sciences from Elmhurst College.  I have my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning with concentrations in ESL and Differentiated Instruction from the University of St. Francis.  I also have my ESL endorsement and LBS1 endorsement (Special Education) from the University of St. Francis.  I have recently started taking courses towards receiving my Gifted Education endorsement.

I have a son who will be 3 years old in October.  I love spending time with him, my family, and friends as often as I can.  That's a little about me.  I look forward to a great school year.  :)
