Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.  This school year is starting like no other.  Students, parents and teachers are all embarking on a new path this fall as we work to get ready for school to begin.  I look forward to partner with you to provide the best learning opportunities possible for your child.  

I have had the pleasure to continue teaching in Queen Bee 16 for twenty years.  I've had the opportunity to teach 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and currently 6th grade over the span of my career. My favorite grade is 6th grade.  I love to watch them grow as they make their way to middle school.  

I am part of an excellent team (6-2).  This is my second year teaching on this team, and I'm looking forward to working with this group of exciting teachers.  I will be your childs Reading and Writing teacher this year.  My goal is to help your child appreciate literature while allowing them to be creative in writing.  

Some of my favorite things:

•my family (my husband, two daughters, and chocolate lab named Max)

•my love for nature (biking, kayaking, running, and skiing)

•Fall ( I love this season and all the fun-filled festivals during this time)
