Hello! I'm Mrs. Spain, and I am the Special Education teacher on Team 8-1. I co-teach English Language Arts and Math, and specialize in providing differentiated instruction to ALL students. 

This will be my fifth year teaching at Glenside, with five previous years of experience from Chicago Public Schools and Des Plaines. I received my Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University in both Elementary Education (K-9) and Special Education (K-12). I also have my Master's degree in teaching English as a Second Language. 

When I'm not at school, I live with my husband, daughter, and three cats. Some of my hobbies include playing with my daughter, watching new tv shows and movies, and cooking.
