Welcome to Queen Bee Schools, District 16

The mission of Queen Bee Schools is to set high standards to ensure that all students learn, grow, and achieve.

Queen Bee School District 16 is one of two elementary (PreK-8) school districts located in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Glendale Heights, approximately 25 miles west of Chicago, is situated in Northwest DuPage County and Bloomingdale Township. It is governed by a Board of Education, whose seven members are elected by the citizens in the community. The Board meets monthly in open meeting sessions at the Queen Bee Operations Center, which is located next to Glenside Middle School on dates publicized locally. 

The Queen Bee Operations Center, which houses the district’s central office, is located next to Glenside Middle School. In addition to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, Teaching and Learning, Fisical Office, and Student Services Offices are located in the Administrative Center.
