I attended Illinois State where I obtained my Elementary Education Degree, with a mior in Art, Language Arts, and Social Science.  For graduate school I attended Roosevelt University and received a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership.  I also attended Olivet Nazarene University and obtained a second Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in ELL.

I began working for Queen Bee School District 16 in 2003.  I started as a part-time Art Teacher at Pheasant Ridge.  Then moved to Americana Intermediate school where I taught 4th and 5th grade for 6 years.  I am currently the Art Teacher at Americana School, and have been teaching Art here since 2010.
