I have been teaching in Queen Bee school district for 17 years and have worked at Glen Hill, Pheasant Ridge and Americana. For the past 16 years I have been at Americana teaching both fourth and fifth grade. I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and History from Elmhurst University, a masters degree in Reading from Northern Illinois University and a second masters degree in Teaching and Learning with an ELL endorsement from University of St. Francis. I am currently continuing my education to get an endorsement in Educational Technology.

I grew up in Glendale Heights and attended Glen Hill for kindergarten, but continued my elementary education at St. Matthew's. Education and learning have always been an important part of my life and I continue to share that passion with my family. I have two younger sisters and 3 beautiful nieces who I love spending much of my time with. In my free time I love to read, watch movies, go to the theatre and try out new recipies in the kitchen. I look forward to a new school year that will be filled with many new opportunities and challenges.
