We are hosting an upcoming 8-week parenting series: Circle of Security Parenting, for parents of young children (prenatal to age 5) here in our Glenbard community. .
Who Should Attend*: Parents (of children prenatal to 5 years old)
Dates**: Wednesdays April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, May 1st, May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th
Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm each evening
Location: John Schroder Early Childhood Center 1519 Grace St. Lombard, IL
Cost: FREE
*Childcare, food provided, interpreters available upon request

DuPage BHC
The DuPage County Health Department has created the Behavioral Health Collaborative to support students and families in Du Page County. The BHC’s Parent and Youth Resources page offers links to local resources for youth mental health, educational seminars on improving and supporting mental wellness, and guides about navigating the often difficult landscape of youth mental health.

Music Update
The First & Fourth Graders will be performing for the Festival of Cultures on Thursday April 25th.
1st Grade-6:15 PM
4th Grade-7:00 PM
The First Grade Show is called “First Grade Spring Sing” & the Fourth Grade Show is called “Big World, Small World.”
Third & Fourth Graders have been learning new songs for their recorders during music class. Kindergarten is learning to strut their stuff and help be music leaders by cheering the Ten Countdown & singing the Music Salute in music class. Second graders are learning the difference in styles of music using the violin in Classical music and the fiddle in folk songs.
STEM Update
Lost & Found
Our Lost & Found is overflowing with items such as coats, sweatshirts, jackets, and outerwear. We will continue to remind studets to look for any lost items on the table outside of the office. If your student is missing any items, please remind them to check the Lost and Found area. Any items not collected by students at the end of the school year will be donated.

Glenbard Parent Series
Join other families of elementary school, middle school and high schoolers, and professionals to learn about issues facing today’s youth. The Glenbard Parent Series engages top experts, parents and school staff to become proactive and informed in pursuit of the mutual goal to strengthen our communities.
