Hello Artists,

I am the art teacher at Glen Hill Elementary and I will also teach art for 5th grade at Glenside Middle School. I have been teaching art for 5 years at Queen Bee School District 16. I love to paint, draw and make jewelry in my spare time. I have an all-white Husky dog named, Thor, and two little girls named, Olivia and Hayven. My favorite artists are Dale Chihuly, Vincent Van Gogh, and Henry Moore.

Our artists at Glen Hill and Glenside are SO talented! They inspire me to create new and interesting lessons that use a variety of materials. I am so excited and honored to be your art teacher. We will not only be creating BEAUTIFUL masterpieces, but also memories.

Being able to participate in art allows our students to EXPLORE their surroundings and EXPRESS ideas and feelings. Art teaches children problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity- all essential and vital skills for their future.
